Professional staff training ranges from marketing and management fundamentals for those new to the industry or technical managers that find themselves charged with leading marketing efforts within their organization.  Training programs include networking and business development skills, organizational process and communications, client development, implementing client relations management (CRM) systems, establishing a corporate communications program and so much more.

Leadership Training & Workshops

Everyone has the capacity to lead, but very few of us lead to our full capacity.  Leadership skills are often formed by your collective life experiences, the desire to understand what makes people tick and the drive and ability to improve your own skills as well as those around you.  Workshop attendees will be challenged to look deep within themselves and unlock their leadership potential.  From firm executives charged with providing vision for their organizations—to marketing directors who lead a department and to the coordinators who lead proposal efforts—these workshops are tailored to give you the tools and resources that you need to lead better.

Strategic Marketing Planning Workshops

Utilizing a simplified strategic marketing planning process can provide a roadmap for growth and can help identify and meet your firm’s marketing and business goals—and—you only need a few hours to spare! This workshop explores the critical components of research and planning and provides the simple steps necessary to work through the strategic marketing planning process utilizing real-life case study and a one-page, tried-and-true strategic marketing template. Best practices, detailed instructions and the strategic marketing planning template are provided to attendees.

The Professional Marketer's Leadership Exchange©

The Professional Marketer’s Leadership Exchange (Leadership Exchange) was born through my involvement in the creation, development and facilitation of the SMPS Maryland Senior Advisory Council Leadership Roundtables.  A vision of then chapter President Catherine DeWitt, CPSM, that began in 2015 and ran through 2017.  Today, each Leadership Exchange group is comprised of no more than ten individuals who are mid to senior-level marketing executives, directors and business development professionals in the AEC arena.  The group exchanges ideas, guidance, draws support from their peers and debates new trends, industry practices, and the skills necessary to compete and succeed in today’s marketplace. Marketing professional and Principal/Owner groups are forming now.  Please contact me for more information or if you are interested in joining one of these groups.
